Installation Instructions

The Safe-Rise operating system makes raising and lowering your roller shades easy and safe. Just push up or pull down on the aluminum bar to raise and lower your shades. They stay right where you put them. No cord and no string attached – child safety is our #1 priority.

Our eAccu is a rechargeable motorized solution that does not require any hard wiring. The accu motor is integrated in the roller tube and makes the installation the same as a non-motorized shade – clip and snap. The motor charge can last for many months and when it is time to recharge, just plug in the supplied cable over night and you are good to go again. The system is remote controlled and can be operated via Alexa, smart phone and tablets (WiFi-bridge required). No cord and no string attached – child safety is our #1 priority.

The blind is installed to the inside of a window casing, to the glass stops of a tilt and turn window, or between a window trim. The blind is almost flush or recess to the window – a minimum depth of ½ inch is required for this installation. This installation is suitable for tilt and turn windows, sliding windows, casement windows, double/single hung window and folding doors.

The blind is installed to the outside of the unit and requires brackets for the installment. The unit protrudes out about 1½ inches. This installation is used for French doors, windows with not the required depth available or if a surface mount is desired. Surface mount is also required if your window has true divided grids which prevents from an inside mount installation.

Drill free installation is only available for tilt and turn window and doors. A metal bracket clips to the actual window sash to hold the blinds. Note, that the measurement is different – measure the width between the glass stops but then the total height of the window sash (!) (print measuring instruction here).

The blind is recess or flush to your window trim or casing (minimum of 7/8 inch in depth required). Please measure the actual width and height of the opening. (print measuring instruction here).

The available depth of installation is only ½ inch to ¾ inch. Please measure the actual width and height of the opening. We will supply the narrow depth installation plates with your order. Please note, that there will be a small gap on the bottom and top of the blinds of 1/8 inch. (print measuring instructions here).

Bottom up Top down blinds can be operated in either direction top or down and can be moved to any position of the window/door. The blind is installed with small mounting parts to each corner of the window permanent or non-permanent – there are no strings running across your glass. No pull strings are needed to operate the blinds which improves child safety tremendously.
